Like I promised, today is the first of my series, “Lots of Language”. It’s a mini-series really, just a few fun ways to get your kids talking and practicing their speech and language skills. I’ve actually made posts in the past that suggest some similar ideas for holidays and such, but I figured it might be easier if I took the time to put the information into a neat little packet for everyone to use year in and year out. I hope you like this idea and come back for the next Lots of Language post! The posts will go up on the second Wednesday of each month. With the exception of this Fall Freebie (it will be a forever freebie) the packets going forward will be free for the first week they are posted. Then, they will be $2-4 to purchase after that week. You can check out the blogging line up here for more opportunities to score some great speech and language freebies!
Rather than making a duplicate of what I suggest in the packet, I’m going to tell you what’s in the packet, and then let you go check it out if you are interested. There are four pages of activities to target the following:
- adjectives
- categorization skills
- emotions
- following directions (with a provided recipe)
Then, there are 12 cute fall-themed cards that provide questions, topics, etc to facilitate expressive and receptive language skills. Here are some previews:
So, head on over to my TpT store if you’d like to grab this freebie!
