How to Use Google Classroom for Speech Therapy

If you’ve been asked to start using Google Classroom for speech therapy and don’t know where to start, this post is for you! Many teachers and SLPs have been enjoying Google Classroom for a while, but I know many of us have started using it due to COVID19 and aren’t sure where to start. For those of you who don’t know, I am a homeschooling mama, so I often use Google Classroom for that.  Many of you that are wondering about how to use Google Classroom for speech therapy have asked about how to add a resource to the classroom and how to keep the pdfs interactive, so I created this video to help answer those questions.

Here’s are some of the things that are covered in the video:

  • How to post via the stream or classwork tabs
  • The different types of assignments that can be posted
  • How to access the file once it’s uploaded
  • A way to make sure the clickable links and interactive components in the resource stay clickable and interactive

The resources shown in this video are part of The Digital SLP Membership, which you can learn more about by clicking here.
