It’s that time again for Five Fab Freebies! This week’s freebies are summer-themed language activities. Let’s take a look:
- First up is Summer Regular & Irregular Verb Cards from Kathy Babineau. Have your students fill in the blank after reading a sentence aloud on these adorable beachy verb cards. An answer key is also included.
- Next is Summer Homophones from Tiffany Teaches. For this activity, students find the pairs that make a match and then write them on the recording sheet that is included.
- Then, we have Flip Flop Fun (Is/Are, Was/Were) from Speech Ace. These fun flip flop cards can be used in three fun ways- for memory, matching or go fish.
- Next is Summer Pronouns by Speech is Sweet. This download includes cards to fill in the blank with the correct pronoun. There are “bonus cards” (take an extra turn, etc.) to keep it fun for your students.
- And last up is Fun in the Sun Antonyms Game by Christine Statzel. This is a fun little game created for 2-4 players. Students race to get to the water slide (on the game board) by providing antonyms for each space they land on.
So, what do you think, are you ready for summer yet???
