Fall is in the air, and I couldn’t be happier! It’s a perfect time for campfires, s’mores, hot drinks, and warm sweaters. If you’re like me, you’ll take any excuse to include pumpkins, falling leaves, and warm colors into your speech sessions. I’ve taken a minute to put together some awesome free Fall activities for SLPs, so grab some hot apple cider and take a look at these freebies:
1) First, we have Lots of Language for Fall by The Speech Space. You’ll get four pages (plus a recipe) with some fun and festive activities to facilitate speech and language skills.
2) Next, we have Fall Short Stories by Kayla SLP. It includes a cute short story about how to make a pumpkin pie. The visuals included in this product make the story super easy to follow; they are great to use for sequencing goals! But it doesn’t stop there with this freebie-target comprehension, WH-questions, and vocabulary, too!
3) Third is Fall Print and Go Articulation Sample by Sarah Wu – Speech is Beautiful. It is a great sample of her full version! This freebie focuses on sound level, so it is perfect for your little kiddos or students who are just beginning artic therapy! They will love coloring and decorating their worksheets.
4) Our Next Freebie is When the Leaf Blew In by Speech is Sweet. It’s such a fun story and there are a bunch of ways to utilize this little book!
5) Last but not least, we have Where is the Scarecrow? – Spatial Concepts FREEBIE by Tech ‘n Talk SLPs. These adorable scarecrows make learning spatial concepts and vocabulary fun for everyone!
I hope you and your students enjoy bringing a bit of this season into your speech room with these fun, free Fall activities for SLPs! Don’t forget to leave feedback and let the SLPs know if you liked their freebie!
