Self-Care Tips for Speech Therapists

It’s about that time of year when many SLPs are packing up their speech rooms.  Summer is a great time to decompress and it’s a great time to nurture yourself, as well.  Today, I talk about some easy self-care tips for speech therapists.  Hopefully you will find an idea that inspires you that you can implement on a regular basis.  When you practice self-care, you feel better.  And when you feel better, you perform better at work, at life, and really across the board.  There is no down side to implementing self-care techniques, however, the challenging part can be carving out the time.  So, while you have a little extra time this summer, give yourself the TLC that you deserve!
