Our Mission

The Digital SLP® was founded to provide time-saving resources for speech-language pathologists while minimizing our environmental footprint.

We believe that the future of education is digital. By providing our resources online, we are able to minimize the use of paper and ink, reducing our environmental footprint and contributing to a more sustainable world.

After witnessing and experiencing SLP burnout ourselves, we feel passionately that every SLP should have a digital toolbox of speech therapy resources. Having all of our resources in one place provides an easy way to access and categorize materials. Not only does this minimize clutter and time spent organizing an SLP’s speech room, but it saves loads of planning and preparation time.

Our resources are designed to meet the unique needs of speech language pathologists and their students. We offer a variety of tools and materials, including screeners, games, music, virtual field trips, and other interactive therapy materials. Our team of experts has developed these resources to help speech-language pathologists provide effective and engaging therapy to their students. We are proud to be a part of the sustainable education movement, and we look forward to working with you to create a brighter, more environmentally friendly future.

Meet the Founder

Jessica Cassity, M.S., CCC-SLP

Jessica has been a certified speech-language pathologist since 2007. She went to the University of Pittsburgh for her undergraduate degree and then to Northeastern University for her master’s. She’s worked in various settings, including skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, schools, and private practice.

When running a social skills group in 2013, Jessica started to create her own materials. She fell in love with doing this because it really let her tap into her creative side. She hasn’t looked back since then and has continued to make materials to help meet the needs of SLPs across the globe.
