5 Things You Didn’t Know About This SLP & A Giveaway!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Today I’m here to share 5 things that many of you didn’t know about me.  Most of them are personal and not professional, so I hope you enjoy getting to know me a little better!  I’d love to learn more about you too!
1) I had a THICK southern accent until the age of 13.  I moved from Texas to Pennsylvania and was teased quite a bit about the way I spoke.  I dropped that accent within the first week of starting at my new school.
2) I’m left handed.  Many of the older folks that I work with refer to me as a “southpaw”.
3) I have a beautiful daughter named Laura.  She is named after my very best friend in the world, Laura, who died from Melanoma in 2011.
4) I work with two very different populations.  Peds during the week and adult neuro/tbi patients on the weekend.  The majority of my time right now though is at home with my little ones.
5) I gave birth two months ago.  OK, so might *might* know this about me, but I feel it’s noteworthy, so I’m mentioning it.  Yup, I have a toddler and a new little bundle now.  Life is crazy!
What are 5 things that your followers and SLPblogger friends might not know about you???  I would love it if you linked up so I can learn a little bit more about you!  Not a blogger?  Then leave your list of 5 things in the comments section, I’d love to read them.
As a big thank you to my friends and followers, I’d also like to offer you the chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card by entering my giveaway (at the very bottom).  This is my way of saying thank you for sticking with me during these crazy times when I might not always be as active on TpT or social media.
