Happy July! Time is flying by as usual, but I hope you all are finding some time to kick back and relax this summer. The first freebie is for professional development and for those SLPs who would like to catch on some reading this summer. I know that not all of us get to have the summers off, unfortunately. I hope these freebies will keep things fresh in your speech room!
1) First up is Speech on the Beach e-Zine from SLP Bloggers Summer 2017 FREEBIE! from Activity Tailor. Eighteen of your SLP blogger friends have compiled this e-zine for those of you who feel like you finally have time to catch up on some reading.
2) Next, we have Summer regular and irregular verbs card kit by Kathy Babineau. This is a simple fill-in the blank task with regular and irregular verb cards.
3) Another great freebie that you’ll find useful is {FREE} Summer Speech Homework Calendars for Articulation by Schoolhouse Talk. Maintenance is important! Don’t let your students’ articulation skills slip over the summer break!
4) Next up is Beach Games open ended games by Dean Trout’s Little Shop of SLP. Quick and easy games that are open ended and can be played with any task. Use this summery, beach-y board game to target any and all goals!
5) And, last but not least, is Blend & Color: Summer Compound Words – Phonemic Awareness Activity by Bluebird Speech. This activity is perfect for targeting compound words during summer break.
